4 Original 1962 Escape from Alcatraz Photos - Prison Cell, Vent, Life Vest
This listing is for a rare set of four original black-and-white photographs related to the infamous 1962 escape from Alcatraz, one of the most legendary prison breaks in American history. These photographs are from the time period and appear to have been produced by a law enforcement or investigative agency. They may have served as internal evidence or documentation during the immediate aftermath of the escape.Two of the photos have typed captions on the reverse side, while the other two are blank. Three of the photos measure 8x10, while the fourth measures 9x8.Light wear and curl consistent with age.
These are not modern reprints. The paper, photo tone, and wear are consistent with vintage 1960s development.
A must-have for collectors of crime memorabilia, prison history, or Alcatraz artifacts.
