The image of \"Hood River Valley, Looking South\" towards a snow-covered Mount Hood was published for Geo. L. Slocum, Hood River, Oregon. Handwritten message on front is dated February 6, 1907 and describes how the writer was snowbound for 24 hours and had to get back by a rotary snow plow.
One postcard depicts \"Multnomah Falls, Height 800 feet\", a famous waterfall in the Columbia River Gorge. The image captures the falls as they appeared around the turn of the century, as indicated by the text \"06\" (likely referring to the year 1906). Multnomah Falls is the tallest waterfall in the state of Oregon, located about 30 miles east of Portland.
