These are blank, unsigned, unsealed, novelty and not meant to be used as the real thing.

Blank and unfilled New York State Supreme Court attorney admission certificates, sold as a set of approximately 9.

Never completed — no attorney name, no date, no signature, no court seal affixed.

Each certificate is printed on cream/ivory stock with a bold ornate border of interlocking decorative motifs running the full perimeter.

pre-printed text reads in formal script:

"Be it Remembered that upon certification by the Examining Committee of the State Bar and by order of this Court — [blank] — was admitted as an Attorney and Counselor at Law and has taken and subscribed the oath as required by law, and is hereby licensed as such Attorney and Counselor to practice in all the Courts of the State. In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the official seal this ___ day of ___, A.D. 19__"

A signature line for the Clerk of the Supreme Court appears at the bottom center.

The "A.D. 19__" pre-printed dating places these in the 20th century.
