This hat was made for the Abingdon Pottery Collectors in Sri Lanka for the San Sun brand. The club logo showing the state of Illinois, 3 Abingdon Pottery shapes, and "Abingdon" was screen printed, probably locally.
It is "one size fits all", has an adjustable band at the back, a fabric front and bill with a braided cord, and the back portion of the hat is mesh. I know nothing about hats but it appears to be well-made.
My Dad was one of the Charter Members of the club and the hat, probably from the 1990s, appears brand new and was probably never worn.
