Upfor sale is an antique Austrian brass Post Horn featuring an impressiveembossed Habsburg Double-Headed Eagle along with beautifully detailed huntingscene engravings. This decorative horn is a wonderful example of Austriancraftsmanship and would make an excellent addition to any collection ofmilitaria, hunting memorabilia, postal history, or European antiques.
Thehorn is constructed of brass and retains an attractive aged patina consistentwith its age. It includes the decorative tassel shown in the photos. Themouthpiece is not included.
Thehorn is in good antique condition. It shows normal signs of age and use,including a few small dents, light surface scratches, and areas of finish wear.These imperfections are typical for an item of this age and do not detract fromits display appeal. Please examine all photos carefully, as they are part ofthe description.
