For sale, a Rare service for six made in France white tin glazed ironstone double open salt cellars with handles, decorated with tiny hand painted blue flowers and vines transferware.
Each open cellar is marked on the bottom "FRANCE PORCELAINE OPAGUE DEGIEN " also a crown and a castle also in dark blue.
Each one has a handle with a small embossed leaf.
Each one is 2 1/2 inches long.
The round salt cellar bowl is 1 inch in diameter, the sides are 1/2 inch high.
First to find double salt cellars is rare, then made in France and also ironstone with blue transferware and handles!!
Also a service for SIX!!
Condition: normal light crazing, some light staining, no cracks, no broken handles. One has a small flea size nick.
