Measures approximately 16 1/2 inches long by 5 inches wide to 5 1/2 inches wide at the widest point, while the blade itself measures approximately 11 3/4 inches long by 5 inches wide to 5 1/4 inches wide at the widest point. Quite dirty and dusty throughout from age and use and could use a good cleaning. Exterior shows heavy scratching, scuffing and wear throughout from age and use, including paint wear, while the blade shows heavy scratching, scuffing and wear throughout with tarnishing, discoloration and several pencil point size nicks along its sharpened edge, and the handle portion shows particularly heavy scratching, scuffing and wear throughout compared to elsewhere. The blade shows light to moderate surface rusting in various places throughout, while the hilt shows more moderate surface rusting throughout. The bottom piece of the handle that connects to the bottom of the hilt is moderately loose and could use securing or re-gluing. The markings on the blade are quite faint but are readable overall.
