Description Offered for Sale is this Beautiful Antique Advertising Match Safe made by The Sharples Co., Canal & Washington Sts. Chicago Ill. These match safes were made between the years 1900 and 1915. The design is on a celluloid wrap with the front of the match safe displaying The Sharples Cream Separator Works above a depiction of the factory, above the words, The Largest in The World. The reverse displays a young lady in long blue skirt using the separator. The sides display the company name and address. There are wooden stick matches in the match safe. This Lovely Match Safe would make a Great Addition to any Vintage / Antique Advertising or Match Safe Collestion.
Size: Length 2 3/4" - Width 1 1/2" - Depth 3/8"
Condition: - Good Overall Used Condition. The Match Safe displays scratching, tarnish, denting, rust, pitting, a crack in the celluloid wrap and an overall dirty appearance. The lid opens as expected. Please see the pictures to view the condition of the item for yourself.
