The Rockwell Silver Company of Meriden, CT used a heavy black amethyst glass \"blank\" from the Cambridge Glass Company to inblazen this Art Deco cocktail shaker with dual equestrian hunt scenes (both sides) and \"race rim\" stripes, top and bottom.
A sign of the highest quality molded glass, Cambridge gave this cocktail shaker a ground glass bottom (as shown).
This shaker stands 10.5\" tall and is 3.75\" in diameter at the top. It is in excellent condition for its 90-plus years of age, with very minor flaws noted. It has been in my personal collection since the early 1990s and has been very well cared for.
This same cocktail shaker appears (in ruby glass) on page 113 in Simon Khachadourian\'s The Cocktail Shaker.
