Antique 1800\'s hand-woven Jacquard Coverlet Textile 80\" x 86\" REVERSIBLE For Sale

This is an antique hand made REVERSIBLE American Jacquard coverlet from the 1800\'s, with a beautiful dot and thistle-like pattern. One side is black on white and the other is white on black. It measures approximately 80\" by 86\" (6 1/2 feet by 7 1/4 8 feet). It has a signed label sewed in, but I cannot read the writing. This coverlet has been in our family for generations, having been made by an ancestor of a friend who gave it to our family in the 1950\'s. It has always been in a smoke free environment. There are a number of pulled thread areas, holes, and discolorations or other imperfections as would be expected for a fabric of this age. I have tried to show them, but there may be more that I did not notice that are not pictured.
