Antique Late 19th Century Gebrüder Schütz Austrian 2 Liter Hofbräuhaus Master Beer Stein – Incomplete Lid
Beautiful antique Gebrüder Schütz Austrian master beer stein dating to the late 19th century, approximately 1870–1900.
This impressive 2-liter ceramic stein features elaborate raised figural decoration, a rich gold and brown glazed finish, and traditional Bavarian beer hall imagery.
The front displays a detailed raised scene of figures enjoying beer, surrounded by decorative grapevines and foliage against a deep brown glazed background.
The reverse features additional raised figural decoration, evergreen trees, a decorative wreath, and the inscription “Hof Bräu Haus.”
The sides feature intricate geometric patterns and decorative circular accents, while the narrow neck and pedestal base are adorned with raised decorative bands.
The ornate curved handle and remaining pewter lid hardware complete this beautiful example of antique European craftsmanship.
