An absolute holy grail for collectors of early Americana andprimitive country decor! Up for sale is a remarkably preserved 19th-centuryAmerican horse sleigh bell harness set. Historically kept together from asingle estate, this original leather team strap was neatly divided into abalanced companion pair of two straps—one holding 17 bells and the otherholding 18 bells.

- Strap 1 (17 Bells): Measures 38 inches inlength.
- Strap 2 (18 Bells): Measures 38 inches inlength.
- Harness Condition: Both straps are made of original,thick, 19th-century harness hide. Reflecting their genuine history on a workingwinter horse team, both pieces are missing their original buckle and tongueends where the leather naturally aged and separated over the last 150 years. Some minor leather repairs were made to strengthen. There are a total of three (3) empty slots on the leather, meaning three bellsare missing from what was originally a 38-bell master harness.
