Here is a gorgeous antique textile that dates to late 19th century.The fabric is a wool of medium weight with a fine dark gray tone.The shawl is beautifully woven with a stunning 7.5\" floral border in tones of lighter gray.
There is one faded point along what appears to be the fold when worn in triangle fashion, as seen on the picture, but gorgeous condition nevertheless for a textile of that age.
This antique textile is rectangular and trimmed with fringes.Measures 57\" x 51\" plus 4\" fringe on all four sides.
Because the age of the item, there may be imperfections that I have missed in my examination and subsequent description.
