Antique 1870s Stereoview A & C R.R. Tennessee Railroad Workers American Scenery

Original antique American Scenery stereoview depicting an early railroad scene in Tennessee.
The mount is printed “A. & C. R. R., Tenn.” and shows a large group of railroad workers posed beside the tracks and a substantial wood-frame industrial or railroad structure. An interesting early occupational image with excellent detail, particularly appealing to collectors of railroad photography, Tennessee history, occupational photographs and 19th-century stereoviews.
The reverse is blank and unmarked.
Condition: Original antique condition showing considerable age toning and soiling, edge and corner wear, scattered staining, and general surface wear. There is a noticeable crease/split extending downward from the upper center edge of the mount, along with additional wear at the upper left edge. The photographs remain quite clear with good period detail. Please review all photographs carefully for condition.
