PLEASE READ**** This is a highly sought after piece of American history. The artist was born in Austria in the 1800's and moved to the United States. He would take porcelain blanks and hand paint them and became a famous well known artist of handpainted china. His pieces sell for substantial amounts depending on their condition and the years they were made. Many came from the famous pickard studios . This is an older dated piece from 1900-1910. This piece does have a flaw. It has a repair. It is a very well done repair and it is very hard to find when looking at the top of the bowl. You can really only find it when you flip it over. It was either professionally repaired or whoever repaired to took the absolute care and time in repairing it. I took many pics so you can see everything. Other than that one repair there is no other flaws or chips or cracks. If it did not have that repair I would have priced this at around the 3-400 $ range. It is priced the way it is due to the repair and how well done it was repaired. Beautiful gorgeous piece. With so much history and appreciation for this very well known artist.
