Beautiful antique birthday postcard featuring clusters of blue forget-me-nots, a pale blue ribbon and bow, metallic-gold accents, and a decorative red-and-gold seal motif. The front reads “A Joyous Birthday” in elegant early-20th-century lettering.
The card has an embossed, textured surface with raised floral, ribbon, and decorative details. The reverse contains a lengthy handwritten personal message addressed to Mr. Clifford Craig of Akron, Indiana, R.R. 4, Box 23. An original cancelled green one-cent Benjamin Franklin stamp remains attached.
