Antique 1920s US Navy Bridge Coat from Schuele, Peppler, & Kostens Tailors For Sale

This is a mint condition antique US Navy Officers Bridge Coat by Annapolis Tailor Shop Schuele, Peppler & Kostens (1920-1930). No rips, tears, discernable wear, fading or stains. All the buttons are present and bright. This coat was likely made for a graduating Naval Academy Mid-Shipmen and has the sleeve rank of a Lieutenant Junior Grade. The sewn-on shoulder loops were added later when use of sleeve rank was phased out after WWII. The coat is complete and has no damage, tears or missing buttons (see photos). Note the quality of the lined sleeves and lining.
The coat itself is likely a modern size small (likely size 36), It measures 18" at the shoulders, 20" armpit to armpit, and 40" long from the vase of the collar to the bottom hem. I can pass additional measurements on request.This tailor shop Schuele, Peppler & Kostens was very prestigious and known for high quality. The coat likely saw service in WWII. Examples of these coats have sold for upwards of $1000.
