Antique Japanese mechanical schoolhouse/regulator wall clock, identified by the estate/sale as dating to the 1930s.
Features an octagonal wood case, pendulum, winding key, and decorative glass marked “REGULATOR A.” The original paper label on the back reads “C.M.A. EXAMINED – The Clock Manufacturers Association of Japan.”
Tested and working. The clock runs and keeps time, and the strike/chime mechanism is functioning. Please note that the clock currently strikes approximately 2 minutes before the indicated hour.
Includes the pendulum and winding key.

Antique condition with age-related wear throughout. The dial has noticeable staining, discoloration and finish loss, and the wood case has scratches, finish wear, small cracks and other signs of age. Please review all photos carefully for condition.
