A magnificent, authentic antique French jewelry or trinket box. The body is crafted from beautiful opaline glass in a rich, deep red hue (often referred to as "oxblood") with gilded accents. The box features elegant gilded metal mounts (ormolu) and stands on decorative feet; the lid is topped with a leaf-shaped finial. The lid is fully removable (not hinged).
