Antique 8" Music Box Disc Record.

Original antique Polyphon punched steel music box disc, approximately 8 inches in diameter, made in Germany.

This disc is marked Polyphon and Germany and is identified as No. 737. The printed title corresponds to “Krabbelköpfchen / Rollschuhmädel-Lied,” associated with German humorist Hermann Wehling. The Rollschuhmädel-Lied was part of Walter Kollo's 1909 revue Hallo! Die große Revue.

Condition: Antique, sold as found. Significant oxidation, surface scratching, discoloration and wear to the original gold-colored printing are present. There is considerable age-related patina, but the punched musical pattern remains largely intact. The disc has not been tested in a Polyphon music box, so playability is unknown.
