The Anchor Brand Clothes Wringer 770is an antique, hand-cranked laundry tool used in the early 1900s to squeeze excess water out of wet clothing.It clamps onto a wash tub, allowing the user to feed wet fabric between two tight rubber rollers by turning a manual handle. This process speeded up drying times before modern electric spin cycles existed.Note: i could not locate a stamp of the model number but based on research the findings indicated it was a model 770.
