Design: Art Nouveau figural Borzoi Russian wolfhound motif wrapped seamlessly around the handle and cutting body.
Mechanism: Steel blade designed to produce a clean, tradition "V-shaped" cut. Spring-loaded cutter integrated into the base with a functional plunger and steel blade.
Approximate Dimensions: 6" Long x 1.25" Wide x 1" High,
Origin: Commonly produced by European makers (such as German or Austrian manufacturers) during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods as functional pocket or desk tobacciana.
Condition: Mechanism: The internal spring-loaded V-cutter mechanism is fully operational, snaps back and does not stick.
