Up for sale is a rare, original piece of early 20th-century Canadian history.
This historic panoramic photograph captures The Sixth Annual Tuxis Boys' Parliament for Manitoba & Western Ontario, held inside the Legislative Chambers in Winnipeg from December 27–30, 1927.
The Tuxis movement was a prominent church-sponsored youth leadership and citizenship program in Canada. This crisp, clear image shows the young mock-parliament delegates seated at the legislative desks, complete with historical interior details of the Manitoba Legislative Building and crisp text detailing the event at the bottom.
Dimensions: 18.5 inches x 8 inches
Year: 1927
Condition: Very good vintage condition. The photographic emulsion is clear with great contrast. There is no major water damage or staining. There is one small, minor crease located on the lower right-hand corner (as pictured), which does not affect the central imagery or text.
Shipping: Will be shipped flat and securely packaged between heavy cardboard layers to ensure it arrives completely protected. International shipping to Canada is available.
Excellent addition for collectors of Canadian political memorabilia, Manitoba/Winnipeg history, or for regional genealogical research.
