It is finished in a desirable organic matte green glaze with cream highlights that beautifully accentuates the texture and dimension of the forest The "Sylvan" (also referred to as the "Woodland") art pottery line was designed by Albert L. Cusick and introduced by the Brush-McCoy Pottery Company in 1912. Pieces featuring this specific matte green molded relief pattern were primarily produced from 1912 through 1916/1917.
