This is an antique C.T. Ham Manufacturing Company No. 2 cold-blast barn lantern featuring a vintage red glass Dietz Fitzall globe. Standing 14 inches tall with a 7.5-inch base diameter, this lantern features a striking red-and-green color profile that makes it an exceptional rustic accent piece for Christmas displays or holiday hearth decor.
Condition: This item is in weathered vintage condition and is being sold strictly as a rustic decorative display piece. The metal frame wears an older, user-applied green paint finish that shows authentic age-related flaking, minor surface rust, and texture drips. There is vintage green tape wrapped tightly around the right-side tube near the globe lift lever mechanism. The underside of the fount is fully intact. The red glass globe features bold embossed \"Dietz Fitzall New York U.S.A.\" and \"Loc-Nob Patd 3-10-14\" markings. Please note that the glass globe has a significant triangular-shaped hole broken out of the lower section, along with associated heat stress cracks spreading upward from the break, as clearly shown in the close-up listing photographs. The fuel cap is currently fitted with a classic cork plug.
Please note that the burner assembly is currently frozen/stuck in place and cannot be easily removed, likely bonded by the older layer of green paint. Additionally, there are small, loose objects or solid debris (such as old sediment or small pebbles) loose inside the fuel fount/tank that rattle around when shaken; because the burner is sealed in place, these items have not been cleared or emptied out.
