Antique Church Monstrance, STERLING LUNA, 18 inches tall 10 wide — With Case For Sale

Antique Religious Monstrance. This piece is a tangible symbol of faith, showcasing the intricate craftsmanship and historical significance of Christian artifacts. 

This monstrance is simply stunning and amazing. The original LUNA is marked STERLING and easily slides in and out of the center chamber. There is a small mark on the Luna by the word STERLING, but I am unable to make out what it depicts. Also, there is felt on the base, so I am unable to see if there are any maker’s marks on the base area. Door on the backside to house the Luna works properly and locks securely. Monstrance measures approximately 18 inches tall and is 10 inches wide. Details include the cross at the top, florals, rays/bands, and various engraved designs. No problematic scratches. There is some tarnish around the base and where the priest would hold the monstrance. Overall it is in excellent used condition.  Original case is in excellent used condition and measures 12x20 inches and all clasps function properly to close and lock the case.
