DESCRIPTION
Crescent model cast iron miniature cookstove salesman's sample. Ornate backplate with scrollwork and lamp platforms. Multiple removeable stovetop lids. Embossed cold painted Crescent and star design on the hinged oven door. Complete with removeable side extensions. Accessories include an ash bucket, three sadirons, two trivets, a frying pan, a clothespin, and two milk bottles. Bottles and clothespin / wash stick are probably later additions.
CONDITION
Overall excellent. Some minor surface oxidation, consistent with age and use (all visible in the images). A FUNCTIONAL MINIATURE MEANT TO DEMONSTRATE REAL STOVES.
