This is a SINGLE antique European clog with a hand-carved wooden base and a heavy leather upper.
The upper leather is bound to the wooden sole with continuous wire/staple fastening.
Historical Repair: Features a period-added rubber heel cap fastened with nails (a common early-20th-century repair practice to protect wooden soles).
Stapled Wire Rim: The continuous wire/staple binding holding the thick leather to the carved wood upper rim was a method mechanized in the late 19th and early 20th centuries (c. 1890–1930) for work clogs.
Condition: Sold AS-IS in rustic/primitive condition. Showcases authentic age-related wear, including heavy patina and cracking to the leather along the upper wire seam. Perfect structural display piece.
