A charming genuine antique Edwardian era dress form, French, signed by the maker Gerard, and stamped "Paris" in the iron metal screw bolt which keeps it erect on the wooden stand. This is a child's dress form, stands 47 1/2" tall. Shoulder across are 12". Covered in a nice padded, pale oatmeal linen, with wooden arm hole protectors. Please ask if you need more details. Wonderful for your display, shop or just to love!Above average for an antique dress form, very good shape, light signs of use, overall clean, no odors. Not torn or ripped, not yellowed, 1 small stain on 1 shoulder (shown), a few signs of age so see the photos. Wooden armholes are very good, not scratched or worn. Stands erect and does not wobble. Wooden base has some scratches, see pix. Fits tightly in the sheath and the screw tightens cleanly and tightly. One of the better ones I have seen.
