This very unusual piece was made in Thuringia Germany West of Meissen around 1900-1910. In Germany this known as a lucky pig - know as the Glucksschwein a cheerful symbol of good fortune, wealth and prosperity, usually given as a gift on New Years Eve. Inside of bell are No.1660 with clapper, outside marked 100,000.
