The flat bottom retains original paint coverage and micro-pitting consistent with early 20th-century sand casting.

Authenticity Assessment This piece displays all classic hallmarks of authentic early 20th-century Hubley cast iron production. The bottom surface exhibits tight, dense sand-casting texture without modern machine grinder marks or coarse modern foundry pits.
