Great early men\'s clothing / tailor advertising piece with an attractive black and gold design and illustrated figure.
This appears to be an early 1900s advertising sign associated with J.L. Taylor & Co., a made-to-measure men\'s clothing company operating in New York and Chicago.
The sign shows authentic age and wear including scratches, finish loss, spotting, discoloration and general patina. I have intentionally not polished or restored it, so the original aged appearance remains.
Excellent display piece for a collection of antique advertising, men\'s clothing, tailoring, haberdashery, general store or barbershop décor.
