Beautiful antique Limoges France porcelain cabinet plate/charger, approximately 12 inches in diameter, retailed by the historic Philadelphia department store Strawbridge & Clothier.
The center features an elaborate romantic figural scene depicting a gentleman in period dress presenting a bird’s nest with chicks to a seated lady. The scene is surrounded by a richly molded scalloped Rococo-style border with extensive gold gilt decoration.
The artwork is artist signed in the lower portion of the scene, appearing to read “Rogin.” Other antique Limoges porcelain pieces bearing a Rogin signature are documented, including artist-signed game-bird plaques. Because the exact decorator/workshop of this particular plate has not been independently confirmed, the signature is being described as it appears rather than making a definitive attribution.

Condition: Excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs observed. The elaborate gold decoration is exceptionally well preserved with no significant rubbing noted. The central artwork also presents beautifully. Please review all photographs closely as they are part of the condition description.
