Offered is this beautiful antique red, white and green colored German majolica plate.Made by the Villeroy & Boch factory in Baden-Wuerttemberg/ Schramberg Germany. This factory was founded in 1818 by Isidor Faist who sold it to Villeroy & Boch in 1883 who kept it until 1912.This lovely plate features a central green lily flower and a rim adorned with white lily of the valley flowers. The pinkish-red color is a more rare color.
The scalloped rim is reticulated or pierced so you can thread a ribbon through to hang it on your wall.The back is marked with the makers mark and has impressed numbers \"1132/9\".It measures 6.75 inches in diameter.It is in excellent condition for its age with no chips or cracks.
This will be beautiful in your collection.
