The front is boldly embossed MISSION above the pictorial bell trademark, with TRADE MARK beside the bell and MADE IN CALIFORNIA below. The base carries the regional maker embossing M'F'D BY W. J. LATCHFORD CO. LOS ANGELES, CALIF. This half-gallon variation has the smooth-lip Mason beaded-neck seal and is fitted with a zinc screw cap and milk-glass liner.
The glass shows authentic early manufacturing character, including scattered seed bubbles, subtle waviness and natural variation in the aqua tone. The zinc lid has an aged surface patina consistent with use and storage. This listing is for the exact jar, zinc cap and liner shown.
