Charming antique German miniature teacup and saucer, beautifully mix & matched in classic blue and white. The petite cup features a lovely windmill landscape, paired with an ornate scalloped saucer with cobalt floral decoration.
Both pieces are antique German porcelain and marked Germany, but have different maker’s marks and were not originally a matching set.
The teacup bears an ornate custom-style monogram on the underside, marked “Germany.” Such personalized monograms were often commissioned for a family, hotel, restaurant, or other upscale establishment, adding a little mystery and history to this charming antique piece.
They coordinate beautifully and make such a sweet display piece for a blue & white collection, miniature tea collection, or cottage-style décor.
