This antique covered oval vegetable tureen was manufactured between 1891 and 1894 by the New Wharf Pottery Co. of Burslem, Staffordshire, England.It features their lovely "Primrose" pattern, showcasing delicate, naturalistic brown transferware trailing florals, leaves, and wild primrose clusters climbing across both the lid and base.
