Antique Original 1886 Shepard Hardware Uncle Sam Mechanical Coin Bank For Sale

Antique original 1886 Shepard Hardware Uncle Sam mechanical coin bank. Bank features a large prominent Uncle Same figure with an umbrella cane and coin purse on a patriotic base. Uncle Sam\'s hand moves down and he laughs as the coin purse opens to accept a coin when the lever is pressed. 1886 patent date on bottom of bank noted in photos. Bank measures 5\" wide and 11\" tall. Bank mechanically tested in working condition. Bank has some paint loss and surface rust, moreso on the back of the figure as seen in photos, and is otherwise in good physical condition retaining much of the original paint and vibrant color. A rare find!
