Antique Original BrasBronze? Norwalk Mortise Door Lock Super Rare Find No Key. This lock has been part of my collection for several decades. I was told this was made out of solid bronze, but I’m not sure. I was also told that it was possibly also Maritime related due to its heavy duty and corrosion resistant composition. This is one of the earliest known Norwalk mortise locks ever made. It has a very early Norwalk anchor hallmark stamped on it. It is very heavy at over 4 pounds! See pictures for details.
