This is an antique real photo postcard (RPPC) showing a toddler standing outdoors in a yard. The child wears a white smock-style top and bloomers with dark stockings and boots, and stands in grass scattered with fallen autumn leaves. Behind the child are a hedge, a bare-branched tree, and a utility pole against a pale sky. It has a soft sepia tone and a white border.
The back is divided, with \"POST CARD\" printed in outline letters, a \"Correspondence Here / Name and Address Here\" layout, and a decorative \"Place Stamp Here\" box. It is imprinted vertically along the left edge \"PHOTO BY H. A. BOSS, LUDLOW, VT.,\" which makes it a small-town Vermont studio piece. The card was never mailed and has no writing or postmark.
It is a nice piece for collectors of vintage children\'s photography, Vermont and Windsor County ephemera, and anonymous vernacular snapshots, or for anyone who frames antique photographs.

Condition:Good antique condition for its age. The image is lightly faded, with some silvering and soft contrast, which is typical of real photo stock from this era. There is a small crease or bend near one upper corner, light wear and softening at the corners, and a small edge nick along the bottom border. The back has even age toning, a few light spots and scuffs, and a small penciled price notation in the upper corner. No tears or missing paper were observed.
