This listing is for an antique sterling silver compact by Unger Brother, Newark, NJ, 1872-1914.
It has a gold wash on the inside, the mirror is missing and has scratches all around it (we are not sure why).
It is stamped inside: STERLING - Unger Brother\'s hallmark - 925 FINE.
The compact measuresabout 2-3/8\" in diameter. The chain is also sterling with a tiny lobster clasp attached to a 1\" diameter ring.
There are a two letter monogram on the back.
The total weight is 37.6 grams.
