Antique Textured Fabric, 100% Wool. This fabric is on the antique side of vintage, most likely dating to the first half of the 20th century. It has a very prominent \"pebbled\" texture on the front side of the fabric; the back side of the fabric is more flat, with the occasional slub or knotted yarn sticking up. The color is a dark coffee brown, a bit darker than the photos, which were taken on a sunny day. The selvedge on this makes me think it was handwoven on a floor loom. This fabric measures 2.5 yards x 58\" and weighs 43 oz. Probably intended for a coat. No stains, no moth damage. Has been stored and never used.
