De Gruyter tea or cocoa bus with oriental birds
Description
Round high tin storage tin by De Gruyter for tea or cocoa, equipped with a loose, slightly overhanging insert lid with an extra inner edge to reinforce the closure. The bottom is seamed inwards. The decoration of this tin consists of a dark brown background with green and gold details which are embossed.
The lid is decorated with a gold-coloured floral motif. The tin can itself features cranes, floral decoration and a green landscape. The tin stands on three semicircular ball feet that are punched into the bottom of the tin. Seamed longitudinal seam at the back.
Condition
This tin is in a beautiful vintage condition with traces of use and age-related traces of wear. Photos are part of the description.
