Unusual antique Victorian-style art glass ewer or decanter featuring a beautiful combination of pink/lavender and opaque white glass.
The bulbous body rises to a slender neck with a hand-shaped ruffled pouring rim. A long applied opaque white glass handle curves dramatically from the neck around the body. Additional applied white glass vine, leaf and flower/bud decoration encircles the lower body, with subtle pink accents on the flower buds.
Includes its coordinating pink/lavender glass stopper, giving the piece a particularly striking and complete appearance.
Measures approximately 9-1/4 inches high with stopper x 3-1/2 inches at the widest point.
Unmarked as far as observed. Exact maker and country of origin are unknown; the form and applied decoration are characteristic of decorative Victorian art glass.
