Beautiful antique Victorian art glass vase featuring a hand-painted scene of two long-legged water birds, likely herons, cranes or egrets, surrounded by delicate flowering branches and foliage.
The small vase has an opaque white body shading to warm amber near the shoulder and neck. Particularly attractive construction with a deeply crimped and ruffled rim edged in transparent amber glass and two elaborate applied glass handles.
A very decorative little piece with considerable detail for its size.
Measures approximately 5 inches high and 4 1/2 inches at the widest point.
Appears to be in good antique condition overall with expected age wear, including some wear/loss to the painted and gilt decoration and normal manufacturing irregularities. Interior shows some residue/discoloration from use. No maker’s mark observed. Please review all photographs carefully for precise condition.
