The group includes three decorative die-cut/layered designs featuring:
• hand holding an open book surrounded by red roses, with romantic verse
• hand presenting a raised “To my love” plaque among roses and flowers
• pair of doves surrounded by roses, flowers and a hand motif
The cards feature colorful period lithographed imagery, decorative cut edges and layered paper elements. One includes a lift-up/mechanical panel revealing an additional scene beneath.
One reverse is marked “Floral Album – 12 for 15 cents.” Another bears an old John F. Burroughs imprint.
Approximate size is around 2.5 x 4 inches each, with slight variation by design.
All three were previously mounted in an album or scrapbook and have substantial paper residue/loss on the backs from removal. Fronts remain very displayable, with attractive color and strong Victorian romantic imagery.
