A model No. 88’s which is the top of the line Keen Kutter model of quality. Simmons was a hardware jobber who had their name and logo put on tools made by other manufacturers. Simmons used the finest makers and this saw was made by Disston during the 1920’s, and is similar to their No.16 model saws in quality and style. It has the highest grade spring steel that is tapered ground with a skew back. It has a carved applewood handle with special nickel plated hardware. This saw is in fine ready to use condition with freshly hand sharpened teeth groomed to perfection.
