Stoneware Bottles & Pots – Bols Genever & 1852 A1 – Set of 4Interesting collection of four stoneware bottles/pots, including a Dutch Bols Zeer Oude Genever bottle with original label, an older stoneware bottle marked “1852 / A1”, and two unmarked brown stoneware vessels.The Bols bottle retains its original worn paper label reading “ZEER OUDE GENEVER / BOLS” and “PRODUCE OF HOLLAND”.The taller stoneware bottle has a surviving “1852 / A1” marking. I have not established whether this refers to a date, maker or product marking, so it is being sold as shown without making a specific attribution.The remaining two are unmarked stoneware bottles/pots with attractive old glazes and traditional shapes.Size/dimensions are shown in the photos.All four have age/use-related wear, marks, staining and natural glaze variation. The Bols label is worn with areas of loss, as shown in the photographs.
