Antique Wagner Manufacturing Company No. 9 cast-iron skillet, made in Sidney, Ohio. Features the desirable early arched WAGNER and straight SIDNEY, O. trademark, dating approximately to 1915–1920. Marked “9 A” on the bottom, with “A” representing the pattern or mold designation.
The skillet appears to have remnants of an original nickel-plated exterior, with a traditional bare cast-iron cooking surface. Features dual pour spouts and an open teardrop-style handle.
Unrestored estate condition with considerable old seasoning, carbon buildup, oxidation, surface rust, staining and plating loss. No obvious cracks are visible in the photographs, but it has not been tested for hairline cracks, wobble or spinning. It will require proper cleaning and restoration before cooking use. Sold exactly as pictured.
