This antique tobacco silk was issued by Egyptienne Luxury Cigarettes in the early 1910's to help sell their brands of cigarettes. The silk features the college pennant flag and name of Washington and Lee with classic colors. These silks look fantastic when framed or put in a shadow box. Perfect for any alumni or fan. These silks are sometimes referred to as college silks, cigarette silks and sport silks. Small, only a couple of inches long. Light wear due to age and use. Light creases that can easily be ironed or steamed out. Excellent piece of Americana.
